What information do we collect about you?
Our registration forms, surveys, and/or donation forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, format preference (HTML vs. Text), interests, and similar information. We do not store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers.
We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content. When you make a donation to the AMERICAN FONDOUK, it is possible that your name may be on some mailing lists shared with other reputable organizations. To remove your name from mailing lists shared with other organizations, please email us at AmericanFondouk@mspca.org with your full name, mailing address, and a sentence requesting removal from the AMERICAN FONDOUK shared list.
The AMERICAN FONDOUK uses remarketing to display ads across the internet, in particular on the Google Display Network and Facebook, based on what parts of our website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your web browser. This cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer or mobile device. This use of remarketing allows us to tailor our messages to only display ads that are relevant to you. If you do not wish to see ads from the AMERICAN FONDOUK, you can opt out by visiting Google’s Ad settings and/or Facebook’s Ad settings.
We may work with social media companies (primarily Facebook) to show you interest-based ads to you or to your friends through Facebook’s Custom Audience Tool. This tool allows us to personalize our ads based on you or your friends’ interactions with AMERICAN FONDOUK. A note about children
We do not intentionally collect personal data from website visitors that are under the age of 13. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13.
